
TELEMUNDO STUDIOS EXPANDS ITS ALTERNATIVE CONTENT PORTFOLIO WITH NEW MOBILE FORMATS FOR TODAY'S AUDIENCE
The programming will premiere with Maria, Madre de Dios, the first biblical series in vertical format, co-produced with VIP 2000 TV
Miami, FL – September 24, 2025 Telemundo Studios announced the expansion of its alternative content portfolio with an innovative format of short, vertical Spanish-language series created for a new generation of audiences. This new format will offer a diverse and dynamic catalog of content in compact episodes that reflect how Telemundo's audience currently consumes content.
Combining Telemundo's unmistakable production style with the immediacy of a narrative designed for the digital age, each series will captivate audiences from the very first moment, without losing the essence or quality that characterize Telemundo.
Designed to appeal to diverse audiences, the programming will include vertical adaptations of some of Telemundo's most successful series, such as Weapons of a Woman y Diary of a Gigolo, Among other things, it will also offer original productions created exclusively for this innovative format. In this way, audiences will be able to rediscover iconic stories and enjoy new narratives designed to reflect current viewing habits.

Filmed in Miami, with Mary, Mother of God, Telemundo and VIP 2000 TV, co-producers of the project, are setting a precedent by being the first to reimagine biblical stories in an innovative format designed for mobile devices. This 25-episode vertical series tells the Bible's most iconic love story, reinvented for a new generation. It is also the first installment in a franchise of biblical love stories, which will include titles such as Moses & Zipporah, Samson & Delilah y John the Baptist & Salome.
